Early Life and Beginnings
Simon Peter Rimmer was born in Wallasey, England. Before becoming a chef, he studied fashion and textile design. He then taught himself how to cook.
Simon's Journey in Cooking and TV
In 1990, Simon bought his first restaurant called Greens. It was a vegetarian restaurant in West Didsbury. Greens was open for many years but closed in 2024. He later opened another restaurant, Earle, in Hale in 2006, but he sold it in 2016. Simon has also helped judge events like British Sausage Week.

Simon's TV career started on Granada Breeze. After that, he appeared on many popular shows. These include This Morning, The One Show, and The Gadget Show.
