Where is Skyland Located?
Skyland is found on the eastern side of Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is a very large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Skyland is in the far western part of Nevada.
The main road through Skyland is U.S. Route 50. This road goes south about 5 miles (8 km) to the border with California. It also goes northeast about 20 miles (32 km) to Carson City, which is the capital of Nevada.
Skyland is surrounded by other communities. Lakeridge is right to the north. Zephyr Cove is next to Skyland on its southern side.
