Sooty Heights was a super fun British TV show made for children. It starred the famous puppet Sooty and his friends. The show was created and presented by Richard Cadell, and also featured Liana Bridges and Brenda Longman.
This series was made by Granada Television. It aired on the ITV Network from September 27, 1999, to December 11, 2000. Sooty Heights followed the show Sooty & Co.. It was the first time Richard Cadell became Sooty's main human friend and owner. This happened after Matthew Corbett retired in 1998.
The main idea of the show was that Sooty, Sweep, Soo, Scampi, Richard, and Liana ran their own hotel. They called it the Sooty Heights hotel! The show was like a sitcom, which means it had funny stories and situations. It kept some cool things from earlier Sooty shows, like Sooty's camper van and the characters' bedroom.
The series had two seasons, and each season had 13 episodes. After the show finished, Liana Bridges left. The show then got a new look and was renamed Sooty in 2001.
