South Haven is a small city located in Sumner County, Kansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 324 people lived there.

History of South Haven

South Haven was started in 1872. It got its name from a place called South Haven, Michigan. The railroad, which was very important for travel and trade back then, reached South Haven in 1879.

South Haven covers a total area of about 0.79 square miles (2.05 square kilometers). All of this area is land.

Important roads meet or pass through South Haven. The western end of U.S. Route 166 is here. Also, the northern end of U.S. Route 177 is in the city. U.S. Route 81 also goes through South Haven.
