Exploring the Broadcast History
This season was the first to air after NBC changed the show's time. It moved from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday nights. This later time slot made it harder for many people to watch the show. Most episodes aired on Fridays from 10:00–11:00 p.m. (EST). The very last episode, however, aired on Tuesday, June 3, 1969, from 7:30–8:30 p.m. (EST).
