Stanley Adams (born Stanley Abramowitz) was an American actor and screenwriter. He was born on April 7, 1915, in New York City. He passed away on April 27, 1977.

Stanley Adams appeared in many films and TV shows. He is well-known for his role as Cyrano Jones in the 1967 Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles". He also acted in famous movies like Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) and Lilies of the Field (1963). Besides acting, Stanley Adams also wrote scripts for many TV shows.

Early Life and First Roles

Stanley Adams was born in New York City. His first movie role was in 1951. He played a bartender in the film Death of a Salesman.

He also played a bartender in The Gene Krupa Story. In 1959, he appeared as a safecracker in Roger Corman's movie High School Big Shot.

Stanley Adams had roles in six episodes of Wagon Train. He was also in three episodes of Gunsmoke. He played a political boss named Frank Templeton in the last episode of McHale's Navy. He appeared as a realtor on The Dick Van Dyke Show.

He had two roles in the western series Death Valley Days. In 1967, he was in The Lucy Show as a trainer named Louie. He played King Kaliwani in the final episode of Gilligan's Island. He was also Captain Courageous in two episodes of the 1960s Batman TV series. He played a pool player named "Sure Shot" Wilson on The Odd Couple.
