Stephanie Morgenstern was born on December 10, 1965, in Canada. She is a talented Canadian actress, filmmaker, and writer for TV shows and movies. Stephanie has worked a lot in plays, films, and television, performing in both English and French.
Many people know her from her voice acting roles. She was the original English voice of Sailor Venus in the popular Sailor Moon cartoon. She also voiced Regina in the Dino Crisis video game series and Yin in the cartoon Yin Yang Yo!. Some of her well-known movies include The Sweet Hereafter and Maelström.

Life and Creative Work
Stephanie Morgenstern is also a successful writer and creator of TV shows. With her husband and writing partner, Mark Ellis, she created Flashpoint. This Canadian police drama started in July 2008 and was very popular. It ran for five years and won many awards, including for Best Dramatic Series. Flashpoint was shown in over 50 countries around the world.
After Flashpoint, Stephanie and Mark also created and managed another TV show called X Company. This show was an exciting spy thriller set during WWII (World War II). It was filmed in Budapest and also became popular internationally, selling to many countries like France, the UK, and Japan. X Company was also nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Dramatic Series.
Stephanie has been nominated for important Canadian film awards, called Genie Awards, two times. One nomination was for directing the short film Remembrance. She also helped write and acted in this film with her husband. The other nomination was for co-directing Curtains with her brother, Mark Morgenstern. She wrote Curtains and played the main character in it.
Stephanie has a unique way of experiencing the world called synesthesia. This means her senses mix, so she might see colors when she hears music, for example. She also practices Krav Maga, which is a type of martial arts.
