Stephen Graham (born June 11, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. He also became a coach. Stephen has a twin brother, Joey. Joey also played in the NBA. They were teammates in college. Stephen is now a player development coach for the Denver Nuggets.

High School and College Basketball Journey
Stephen Graham was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He played basketball at Brandon High School in Florida. In his senior year, he was the team captain. He scored about 16 points per game. He also got 8 rebounds and 6 assists per game. Stephen and his brother Joey helped Brandon reach the state finals that year.
Stephen was named to the All-Conference team in his junior year. He made the All-State team in his senior year. He played in the AAU Junior Olympics National Game. There, he was named an All-American. He was part of the championship AAU team from Tampa. He also played for Nike's traveling Florida team. Many colleges wanted him to play for them.
Stephen started his college basketball career at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He played for the Knights for two seasons (2000–01 and 2001–02). Then, he moved to Oklahoma State University. He sat out his junior year (2002–03) to meet transfer rules.
In his first season with the Cowboys (2003–04), he scored a season-high 12 points twice. He averaged 2.8 points per game. He was also named first-team Academic All-Big 12. This was for his great work in school. In his senior season (2004–05), he led the Cowboys with 22 points in one game. Overall, he averaged 6.5 points per game that season.
Stephen Graham's Professional Career
After college, Stephen Graham entered the 2005 NBA draft. However, no team chose him. He played for the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs in summer games. But he did not get a long-term contract.
He then joined the CBA, a smaller basketball league. He played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. On December 10, 2005, the NBA's Houston Rockets signed him. He played in six games before being released on December 29.
Stephen went back to the Skyforce. Then, on January 17, 2006, he signed a 10-day contract with the Chicago Bulls. He played his first game with the Bulls three days later. His contract was not extended after it ended.
On February 6, the Cleveland Cavaliers signed Stephen to a 10-day contract. They signed him for a second 10-day contract. Then, they signed him for the rest of the season.
He spent the start of the 2006–07 NBA season with the Portland Trail Blazers. He was released on January 2, 2007. He then played again for the Skyforce, who were now in the D-League.
In July 2007, he signed with the Indiana Pacers. In September 2009, he signed with the Charlotte Bobcats.
On September 15, 2010, Graham signed with the New Jersey Nets. The Nets released him on December 22, 2011.
On March 13, 2012, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants acquired Stephen. On September 30, 2013, he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks. However, he was released on October 26.
On December 21, 2013, Stephen signed with Guaros de Lara. Stephen also played in The Basketball Tournament for the Ants Alumni team. In 2015, his team reached the semifinals.
Coaching Career
On October 21, 2015, Stephen Graham became an assistant coach. He worked for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
He was later named a player development coach. This role was for the Denver Nuggets. He started this job for the 2016–17 season.
