Stephen Graham (born June 11, 1982) is an American who used to play professional basketball. He also worked as a coach. Stephen has a twin brother named Joey. Joey also played basketball in college and in the NBA.

High School and College Basketball
Stephen Graham was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He played basketball at Brandon High School in Florida. In his final year, he was the team captain. He scored about 16 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and made 6 assists per game. Stephen and his brother Joey helped their team reach the state finals that year.
Stephen was chosen for the All-Conference team in his junior year. He also made the All-State team in his senior year. He played in the AAU Junior Olympics National Game. There, he was named an All-American player. He was part of a championship team from Tampa in the AAU Sunshine State Games. He also played for Nike's traveling Florida team.
After high school, Stephen played college basketball for two years. He played for the University of Central Florida Knights from 2000 to 2002. Then, he moved to Oklahoma State University. He sat out one year before playing for the Cowboys. In his first season with the Cowboys (2003–04), he didn't score much. But he was recognized for his good grades. He was named first-team Academic All-Big 12. In his last college season (2004–05), he had a great game. He scored 22 points against Gonzaga. Overall, he averaged 6.5 points per game that season.
Playing in the NBA and Other Leagues
After college, Stephen Graham hoped to join the NBA. He entered the 2005 NBA draft but was not chosen by any team. He played for the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs in tryouts. However, he did not get a long-term contract.
Stephen then joined a smaller league called the CBA. He played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Later, in December 2005, the Houston Rockets signed him to the NBA. He played in six games before the Rockets let him go.
He went back to the Skyforce for a short time. Then, in January 2006, the Chicago Bulls signed him for 10 days. He played his first game with the Bulls against his old team, the Rockets. But he didn't play much, and his contract was not extended.
In February, the Cleveland Cavaliers signed Stephen. He got two 10-day contracts and then stayed with them for the rest of the season.
For the start of the 2006–07 NBA season, he played for the Portland Trail Blazers. But he was waived in January 2007. He then rejoined the Skyforce, who were now part of the D-League.
In July 2007, Stephen signed with the Indiana Pacers. He played for them for two seasons. In September 2009, he signed with the Charlotte Bobcats. A year later, in September 2010, he joined the New Jersey Nets. The Nets released him in December 2011.
After that, Stephen played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in March 2012. In 2013, he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks but was waived before the season started. He then played for Guaros de Lara in Venezuela.
Stephen also played in a special tournament called The Basketball Tournament. In 2015, his team, the Ants Alumni, made it to the semifinals.
Coaching Career
After his playing career, Stephen Graham became a coach. On October 21, 2015, he was hired as an assistant coach for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
He then joined the Denver Nuggets as a player development coach. This means he helped players improve their skills. He worked with the Nuggets from the 2016–17 season until May 30, 2025, when it was announced that he and the Nuggets would go their separate ways.
