Schools in Stockport
The schools in Stockport are part of the Van Buren County Community School District. This district was formed on July 1, 2019, when the former Van Buren Community School District joined it.
Years ago, the Van Buren Community School District had Stockport Elementary School. There was also a middle school building in Stockport. However, in 2011, the school board decided to close the middle school. Students were moved to the middle school in Keosauqua. This decision was made to help save money for the school district.
