Alexandre Ramos Samuel (born March 20, 1970), known as Tande, is a famous former volleyball player from Brazil. He started playing volleyball for the Botafogo team when he was just 12 years old. Tande became a very important player for the Brazilian national team.

Tande's Olympic Journey
Tande achieved a huge success with the Brazilian national volleyball team. He won a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. This was a very exciting moment for him and his team.
Olympic Games Appearances
After his gold medal win, Tande continued to play for Brazil. He also competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, USA. In that competition, his team finished in fifth place.
Pan American Games Success
Tande also earned a silver medal for Brazil at the 1991 Pan American Games. These games were held in Havana, Cuba. It was another important achievement in his volleyball career.
Beach Volleyball Career
In 1997, Tande decided to try a different kind of volleyball. He switched from indoor volleyball to beach volleyball. He teamed up with his former teammate, Giovane Gavio, to play on the sand.
