Tanglewilde is a community in Thurston County, Washington, in the United States. It is also known as Tanglewilde-Thompson Place. This area is a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a place the government counts for population but isn't officially a city or town. Tanglewilde is part of the larger urban area around the city of Lacey.
The community is surrounded by the city of Lacey. It also shares a border with Mushroom Corner. The community is split into two parts, Tanglewilde and Thompson Place. Martin Way divides these two sections. Interstate 5 forms the northern edge of Tanglewilde. Part of its eastern border is along Washington State Route 510.
