The Target Center is a large sports and entertainment building in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is named after Target Corporation, which helps support it. This arena has special seating, including 702 club seats and 68 private suites.
The Target Center is the home court for the National Basketball Association (NBA) team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. It also hosts the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) team, the Minnesota Lynx. Over the years, other teams have played here too. These include the Minnesota Arctic Blast (a roller hockey team) from 1994 to 1996, and the Minnesota Fighting Pike (an arena football team) in 1996.
