Her First Album: Teairra Marí

In 2005, Teairra Marí worked with Jay-Z on her first big project. Jay-Z had just become the president of Def Jam Records. They created her first song, "Make Her Feel Good". This song was produced by Sean Garrett.

"Make Her Feel Good" was the first song from her album on Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam. It reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also hit number 9 on the R&B charts. The music video was played a lot on BET.

Her second song, "No Daddy", also had a popular music video. This video was shown on MTV's Total Request Live for 16 days. It even reached number four on the show.

Teairra Marí's first album, Roc-A-Fella Records Presents Teairra Marí, came out on August 2, 2005. Many talented producers worked on it.
