Thelumusa Samuel Owen (born April 12, 1991), known as Tellaman, is a singer, songwriter, and music producer from South Africa. He grew up surrounded by music. Tellaman is famous for being part of the hit song "Mayo" by DJ Speedsta. This song was number one on the music charts!

Tellaman's Early Life and Music Journey
Tellaman was born and grew up in Durban, South Africa. He taught himself how to make music. His mom helped him discover his love for music. He sang at home, in church, and in a youth choir. When he was 15, he decided to make music his job. He started writing and recording his own songs.
Tellaman signed a deal with Soul Candi Records. He was featured on their album called Sould Candi Sessions 15. This album was very popular. In June 2016, he released his own EP (which is like a mini-album) called Mind Vs Heart. Then, in February 2017, he released another EP called Lucid Dreams.
On May 18, 2018, Tellaman signed a big record deal with Universal Music South Africa. His first song with them was "No Sharing," released on July 13, 2018.
On February 1, 2019, Tellaman released his fourth album, God Decides, with Universal Music South Africa. Some popular songs from this album include "No Sharing," "Crew Lit," and "Practice." Later in 2019, Tellaman signed international deals with Motown Records and Virgin EMI Records. In May 2020, he also signed with Def Jam Recordings Africa.
