Terrance Joseph Robiskie (born November 12, 1954) is a former American football coach and player. He played as a running back in the NFL. After his playing career, he became a coach for many NFL teams. These include the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Los Angeles Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Terry Robiskie's Early Life and Playing Career
Terry Robiskie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He grew up in Lucy, Louisiana, which is a city west of New Orleans. He went to Second Ward High School. There, he was a talented quarterback.
College Football at LSU
After high school, Robiskie attended Louisiana State University (LSU). He changed his position to running back for the LSU football team. In his final year, 1976, he was named a first-team All-SEC running back. He set some big records at LSU. He was the first LSU running back to run for over 200 yards in one game. He gained 214 yards against Rice University in 1976. He was also the first LSU running back to run for over 1,000 yards in a single season (1976). Plus, he was the first to run for over 2,500 yards in his entire college career (1973–76).
Playing in the NFL
The Oakland Raiders drafted Robiskie in 1977. He played five years in the NFL as a running back. He played for the Raiders from 1977 to 1979. Then he played for the Miami Dolphins from 1980 to 1981. He played for famous coaches like John Madden and Don Shula. Robiskie was a role player, meaning he supported the main players. He rushed for 553 yards and scored five touchdowns in his five seasons. An injury made him retire from playing football.
Terry Robiskie's Coaching Career
After his playing days, Robiskie started coaching. He became a coach for the Los Angeles Raiders in 1982.
Coaching with the Los Angeles Raiders
Robiskie began as an assistant coach for running backs. He helped Marcus Allen become a great player. Allen went to the Pro Bowl twice and had two seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards. Robiskie also coached special teams and tight ends for the Raiders.
He became the offensive coordinator for the Raiders from 1989 to 1993. As offensive coordinator, he helped the team's offense perform well. During his 12 years with the Raiders, the team made it to the playoffs seven times. They also won four division titles. Robiskie was part of the team that won Super Bowl XVIII with a 38–9 victory.
Coaching with the Washington Redskins
After the Raiders, Robiskie spent seven years with the Washington Redskins. He coached wide receivers. In 2000, he became the passing game coordinator. He helped the Redskins' offense rank high in passing yards. He also helped running back Stephen Davis have a great season.
Later in 2000, Robiskie became the Redskins' interim head coach for the last three games. An interim coach takes over temporarily. His record as interim head coach was one win and two losses.
Coaching with the Cleveland Browns
Robiskie joined the Cleveland Browns in 2001 as the wide receivers coach. In 2004, he became the offensive coordinator. He again took over as interim head coach late in the season. This was after the previous coach resigned. Robiskie's record as interim head coach for the Browns was one win and four losses. He stayed with the Browns as wide receivers coach until 2007.
Coaching with the Miami Dolphins
In 2007, Robiskie became the wide receivers coach for the Miami Dolphins. He had worked with the Dolphins' head coach, Cam Cameron, before.
Coaching with the Atlanta Falcons
On January 26, 2008, Robiskie was hired by the Atlanta Falcons. He coached their wide receivers for eight seasons. He was very important in helping stars like Julio Jones and Roddy White become top players. His contract with the Falcons ended after the 2015 season.
Coaching with the Tennessee Titans
In 2016, Robiskie became the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans. He stayed with the Titans for two seasons.
Coaching with the Buffalo Bills
On February 14, 2018, Robiskie was hired by the Buffalo Bills as their wide receivers coach. He coached there for one season.
Coaching with the Jacksonville Jaguars
On January 16, 2019, Robiskie was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He coached their running backs.

Terry Robiskie's Personal Life
Terry Robiskie is married to Cynthia. They have three sons: Brian, Andrew, and Kyle. All three of his sons also played football.
Brian was an NFL wide receiver. The Cleveland Browns drafted him in 2009. Andrew played as a center. He signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2013. Kyle was a wide receiver for Western Illinois University.
