Welcome to the Corinne Mamane Museum of Philistine Culture! This amazing place is an archaeological museum in Ashdod, Israel. It helps us learn all about the Philistines, an ancient people who lived in this area a very long time ago.
This museum is super special because it's the only museum in the whole world just for Philistine culture! It was the first museum to open in Ashdod, back in 1990.
The museum is named after Corinne Mamane. She was a Jewish student from Casablanca, Morocco. Sadly, she passed away in 1984 during her university studies in France. The museum honors her memory.
