The Wacky World of Tex Avery is a fun animated TV show. It was made in America and France. The show was created by Robby London. It's a tribute to the famous cartoonist Tex Avery. He was known for his amazing cartoons at Warner Bros. and MGM.
This show first aired in France on September 3, 1997. Later that month, on September 29, it came to the United States. It was shown on channels like Fox and UPN.

This cartoon follows a brave cowboy named Tex Avery. He always saves the day! His girlfriend is Chastity Knott. Tex often has to stop his enemy, Sagebrush Sid. Pompeii Pete
Pete is a clumsy Roman centurion from Pompeii. He was buried in lava from a volcano long ago. Two thousand years later, he wakes up in the modern world! Einstone
This cartoon stars Ughbert Einstone, a super smart caveman. He is known as the world's first inventor. Einstone tries to teach his friends how to be more civilized. He uses his cool inventions to help them. His name is a funny play on Albert Einstein. The theme song for Einstone is "If You're Happy and You Know It". There are 26 Einstone segments.
Genghis and Khannie
Genghis is a lion warlord. He leads his army to conquer lands for his emperor. But he often meets a sweet panda cub named Khannie. She innocently messes up his plans! Their names sound like Genghis Khan. Genghis the lion looks like a character from Slap Happy Lion. His voice sounds like Sean Connery. Khannie acts a bit like Shirley Temple. There are 27 segments with Genghis and Khannie.
Freddy the Fly
Freddy is a playful and annoying fly. He loves to bother Amanda Banshee. She is a rich, lazy, and very grumpy billionaire. Amanda tries everything to get rid of Freddy, often in extreme ways! Freddy was inspired by Homer the Homeless Flea and comedian Red Skelton's character, Freddy the Freeloader. Freddy's theme is from Beethoven, and Amanda's is from Vivaldi. There are 26 segments of Freddy the Fly.
Maurice & Mooch
Maurice Squab is a clever bird. He often outsmarts Mooch the Fox, who always tries to eat him. Maurice looks like the canary from King-Size Canary. His personality is like Junior Pig from One Ham's Family. Their theme song is "Home! Sweet Home!". You can watch 27 segments of Maurice & Mooch.
Power Pooch
A regular dog gets superpowers by licking a superhero's shoe! He becomes a superhero himself, but he's not very good at it. Power Pooch and his cat sidekick, Little Buddy, fight bad guys. Their enemies include Dr. Hydrant and his helper, Boney. This cartoon was inspired by Underdog. There are 27 segments of Power Pooch.
