Timber Pines is located in the southwestern part of Hernando County. You can find it at these coordinates: 28.468625 degrees North and -82.602006 degrees West.
It's surrounded by another community called Spring Hill on its north, east, and south sides. To the west, you'll find U.S. Route 19. This road can take you about 4 miles (6.4 km) north to Weeki Wachee. It can also take you about 9 miles (14.5 km) south to Hudson.
Brooksville, which is the main city in Hernando County, is about 16 miles (25.7 km) northeast of Timber Pines.
