Tin Jedvaj (born November 28, 1995) is a professional footballer from Croatia. He plays as a defender for the Greek club Panathinaikos. Tin was part of the Croatian national team that finished second in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He usually plays as a central defender but can also play as a right-back.

Tin's Club Journey
Starting at Dinamo Zagreb
Tin Jedvaj began his football career in 2013 with Dinamo Zagreb. He grew up playing in Dinamo's youth academy. His first game was against Osijek, where he played as a central defender. He scored his first goal for the club against Cibalia.
In his first season, he helped Dinamo Zagreb win the Croatian Prva HNL trophy. At the start of the next season, he won another trophy. Dinamo defeated Hajduk Split in the Croatian Supercup. Tin played 14 official games for Dinamo Zagreb.
Moving to Roma
After his first season, the Italian club Roma showed interest in Tin. Even though Dinamo first said no, Tin signed with Roma on July 10, 2013. He played his first game for Roma on December 1, 2013. He came on as a substitute in a 4–0 win against Genoa. He started his first game against the same team later that season. These were his only two games for Roma that season.
Playing for Bayer Leverkusen
On June 11, 2014, Tin joined Bayer Leverkusen on a loan deal. He played his first game for them in a big 6–0 win in the 2014–15 DFB-Pokal cup. A few days later, he played in the UEFA Champions League for the first time. He helped his team win 3–2 against Copenhagen. He also played in the return match, helping Bayer qualify for the Champions League group stage.
Tin made his Bundesliga debut on August 23 in a 2–0 win. He scored his first goal for Bayer in their second game, a 4–2 win against Hertha BSC. He scored again against Werder Bremen, and also helped set up another goal.
In January 2015, Bayer Leverkusen signed Tin permanently until 2020. He had some injuries that limited his playing time in the 2015–16 season. On October 29, 2016, he scored the winning goal in a 2–1 victory against VfL Wolfsburg.
On August 20, 2019, Tin went on loan to FC Augsburg for one season. He scored two goals for them during his loan spell. When he returned to Leverkusen in 2020, he mostly played in the Europa League.
Joining Lokomotiv Moscow
On July 24, 2021, Tin signed a four-year contract with the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow. He made his debut on August 6 in a 1–1 draw. He scored his first goal for Lokomotiv on October 25 in a 2–1 win against Sochi.
Loan to Al Ain
On December 20, 2022, Tin moved on loan to Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. He played there until June 2023.
Playing for Panathinaikos
On July 14, 2023, Tin went on a new loan to Panathinaikos in Greece. On May 28, 2024, Panathinaikos made his transfer permanent. He signed a new contract with the club until 2027.
International Career
Tin Jedvaj has played for Croatia at different youth levels. He made his debut for the senior national team when he was 18 years old. This was on September 4, 2014, in a friendly match against Cyprus.
In May 2018, he was chosen for Croatia's team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He played one game in the tournament, a 2–1 win against Iceland. Croatia finished as the runner-up in the World Cup, losing to France in the final. On November 16, 2018, he scored two goals in a UEFA Nations League match against Spain. One of his goals was the winning goal in a thrilling 3–2 victory.
About Tin's Life
Tin Jedvaj's father, Zdenko, was also a footballer. During the Bosnian War, Tin's family moved from Mostar to Zagreb, Croatia. In June 2022, Tin married his long-time girlfriend, Dina Dragija.
