Tin Jedvaj (born November 28, 1995) is a Croatian professional footballer. He plays as a defender for the Greek Super League club Panathinaikos. Tin usually plays as a centre-back, but he can also play as a right-back. He was part of the Croatia team that finished second in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Club Career Highlights
Starting at Dinamo Zagreb
Tin Jedvaj began his professional football journey in 2013 with Dinamo Zagreb. He had trained in Dinamo's youth academy since he was young. His first game was against Osijek, where he played as a central defender. He scored his first goal against Cibalia.
In his first season, he helped Dinamo Zagreb win the Croatian Prva HNL trophy. At the start of the next season, he won another trophy, the Croatian Supercup, with Dinamo. During his time at Dinamo, Jedvaj played 14 official matches.
Moving to Roma
After his first season, the Italian club Roma showed interest in Jedvaj. Even though Dinamo first said no, Tin signed a contract with Roma on July 10, 2013. He played his first game for Roma on December 1, 2013, coming on as a substitute in a 4–0 win against Genoa.
He started his first game for Roma against the same team later that season. These were his only two appearances for Roma during the 2013–14 season.
Playing for Bayer Leverkusen
On June 11, 2014, Tin Jedvaj joined Bayer Leverkusen in Germany on a loan deal from Roma. This loan was set to last until the end of the 2015–16 season.
Jedvaj played his first game for Bayer Leverkusen in the 2014–15 DFB-Pokal cup, helping his team win 6–0. A few days later, he made his UEFA Champions League debut. He came into the game as a substitute and helped Bayer win 3–2 against Copenhagen. He also played in the return match, which Bayer won 4–0, helping them qualify for the Champions League group stage.
Tin made his Bundesliga debut on August 23, 2014, in a 2–0 win against Borussia Dortmund. He scored his first goal for Bayer in their second game, a 4–2 home win against Hertha BSC. He also scored a great goal against Werder Bremen and helped his teammate Son Heung-min score.
On January 20, 2015, Bayer Leverkusen bought Jedvaj from Roma permanently. He signed a contract to stay with the club until 2020. However, he had a tough time in the 2015–16 season because of a thigh injury. He only played one game that season. On October 29, 2016, he scored the winning goal in a 2–1 victory against VfL Wolfsburg.
Loan to FC Augsburg
On August 20, 2019, Jedvaj went on loan to another Bundesliga club, FC Augsburg, for the 2019–20 season. He scored goals against Fortuna Düsseldorf and VfL Wolfsburg during his time there. After returning to Leverkusen in summer 2020, he mostly played in the Europa League.
Playing for Lokomotiv Moscow
On July 24, 2021, Jedvaj signed a four-year contract with the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow. He joined the team to replace his fellow Croatian player, Vedran Ćorluka, who had retired. Tin played his first game for Lokomotiv on August 6, 2021. He scored his first goal for the club on October 25 in a 2–1 win against Sochi.
Loan to Al Ain
On December 20, 2022, Jedvaj moved on loan to Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. He stayed there until the end of the season.
Joining Panathinaikos
On July 14, 2023, Lokomotiv announced that Jedvaj would join the Greek club Panathinaikos on a loan for the season. On May 28, 2024, Lokomotiv confirmed that Panathinaikos had signed Jedvaj permanently. He then signed a new contract with Panathinaikos that will last until 2027.
International Career
Tin Jedvaj has played for Croatia at different youth levels. He made his debut for the senior national team when he was 18 years old. This happened on September 4, 2014, in a friendly match against Cyprus.
In May 2016, he was chosen to be part of the Croatia squad for UEFA Euro 2016. He started a match against Spain, which Croatia won 2–1. In May 2018, he was named in Croatia's team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He played one game in the tournament, a 2–1 victory over Iceland. Croatia finished as the second-place team in the World Cup, losing to France in the final.
On November 16, 2018, he scored two goals in a UEFA Nations League match against Spain, helping Croatia win 3–2. During the Euro 2020 qualifying games, Jedvaj played regularly. However, he was later not included in the national team for some matches in 2020.
Personal Life
Tin Jedvaj's father, Zdenko, was also a footballer. During the Bosnian War, Tin's family moved from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to Zagreb, Croatia. In June 2022, Tin married his long-time girlfriend, Dina Dragija, in Varaždin.
