This suburb is found just southwest of the main part of Charters Towers. The most noticeable thing about it is the big hill called Towers Hill. This hill is the highest point in Charters Towers. It stands about 421 meters (1,381 feet) above sea level. The rest of the town is usually around 300 meters (984 feet) high.
