Tschiertschen-Praden is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Grisons area of Switzerland. It's part of the Plessur Region. This town was created on January 1, 2009, when two smaller places, Praden and Tschiertschen, joined together.

Tschiertschen-Praden covers an area of about 27.8 square kilometers (about 10.7 square miles). This is roughly the size of 3,900 football fields!

The town is nestled on the mountain slopes in the Schanfigger valley. Tschiertschen village sits high up at about 1,351 meters (4,432 feet) above sea level. Praden has two parts, Inner- and Usserpraden, which are a bit lower at about 1,100 meters (3,609 feet) and 1,250 meters (4,101 feet).
