Tuscarora is a town located in Steuben County, New York, United States. In 2020, about 1,388 people lived there. The town is named after the Tuscarora Native American tribe. You can find Tuscarora in the southern part of Steuben County, southwest of the city of Corning.

History of Tuscarora
Tuscarora became its own town in 1859. Before that, it was part of another town called Addison.

Tuscarora covers an area of about 37.8 square miles (97.68 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a very small amount of water.
The southern border of the town touches the state of Pennsylvania, specifically Tioga County.
Waterways and Roads
New York State Route 417 is a main road that goes through the northern part of Tuscarora. This road follows along Tuscarora Creek.
Tuscarora Creek flows through the northern part of the town. Another creek, Elk Creek, flows north and joins Tuscarora Creek to the west of a place called South Addison.

- Woods Corner – This hamlet is also south of Freeman, along County Road 85 (which is also called Addison Hill Road).
