Uichiro Hatta (八田 卯一郎, Hatta Uichirō, September 10, 1903 – April 20, 1989) was a Japanese soccer player. He played as a midfielder. Hatta also represented the Japan national team.

Early Life and Club Soccer
Uichiro Hatta was born in Osaka, Japan, on September 10, 1903. He grew up with a passion for soccer. After high school, he joined Osaka SC. This club was special because it was started by graduates from his high school. Many famous Japanese national team players also played there. These included Yoshimatsu Oyama, Toshio Miyaji, Sakae Takahashi, and Kiyonosuke Marutani.
Playing for Japan
In May 1925, Uichiro Hatta was chosen to play for the Japanese national soccer team. This was for the 1925 Far Eastern Championship Games. The games took place in Manila, a city in the Philippines.
Hatta played his first international game on May 17. Japan played against the Philippines. A few days later, on May 20, he played again. This time, Japan faced the team from the Republic of China. Japan lost both matches. They lost 0-4 to the Philippines and 0-2 to the Republic of China. These were the only two games Hatta played for Japan.

Life After Soccer
After his soccer career, Uichiro Hatta decided to study law. He went to Tokyo Imperial University. He graduated from the university in 1930. After finishing his studies, Hatta became a judge. He worked in courts, including the Tokyo District Court.
Uichiro Hatta passed away on April 20, 1989. He was 85 years old. He died in Fujisawa, Japan, due to heart failure.
