The Great Stone Story!
Long ago, there was a friendly rivalry between the people of Hartest and Somerton. A very large stone was found in Somerton. But the people of Hartest managed to take it! They rolled the giant stone down the valley. Today, you can still see this stone sitting on the village green in Hartest. It's a fun piece of local history!
