Val-d'Illiez is a beautiful village and a municipality in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Valais, within the Monthey district. This area is known for its stunning mountain views and outdoor activities.

Geography of Val-d'Illiez
Val-d'Illiez covers an area of about 39.3 square kilometers (15.2 square miles). A large part of this land is covered by forests, making up about 36.7% of the area. Another big part, 38.3%, is used for farming.
About 4.1% of the land has buildings or roads. A small amount, 0.5%, is covered by rivers. The rest of the land, about 20.3%, is unproductive, meaning it's too rocky or has too little vegetation to be used for farming or building.
The famous Dents du Midi peaks are a major feature of the landscape. They stand tall over the entire Val-d'Illiez valley.
