Victorious: Music from the Hit TV Show is the very first soundtrack album for the popular Nickelodeon TV show Victorious. A soundtrack album is a collection of songs from a movie or TV show. Most of the songs on this album are sung by Victoria Justice, who plays Tori Vega in the show. Other singers from the Victorious cast are also featured. These include Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, Leon Thomas III, Matt Bennett, Daniella Monet, and Avan Jogia. Even Miranda Cosgrove from iCarly sings on one track!
Many people helped write the songs for the album. Some of the main writers were Michael Corcoran, Dan Schneider, Savan Kotecha, Kool Kojak, and CJ Abraham. Victoria Justice helped write "Best Friend's Brother". Leon Thomas III also helped write "Song 2 You".
The album came out on August 2, 2011. It was released by Nickelodeon Records and Sony Music. All the songs on this album were heard in the first two seasons of Victorious. The album was very popular in the United States. It reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This means it was one of the top 5 most popular albums at the time! It sold over 40,000 copies. The album also hit number one on the Billboard Kid Albums chart. It was also number one on the Billboard Top Soundtracks chart.
The first song released from the album was "Freak the Freak Out". It came out on November 22, 2010. This song was the most successful single from the album. It reached number 50 on the US Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Other popular songs released as singles were "Beggin' on Your Knees" (April 1, 2011), "Best Friend's Brother" (May 20, 2011), and "You're the Reason" (December 3, 2011).

Music Style and Song Meanings
The music on the album uses a lot of cool electronic sounds. You can hear synthesizers and drum machines in songs like "Freak the Freak Out" and "Make It Shine". These help give the songs their unique pop and dance sound. The album also uses Auto-Tune, which is a tool that helps singers sound perfect.
The songs on the album are about different feelings and experiences. They talk about light romance and crushes. Some songs are happy, and some are a little sad. Many songs also talk about believing in yourself and knowing your own worth.
Some of the songs on the album sound a little different from how they did in the TV show. For example, "Tell Me That You Love Me" has more instruments on the album. In the show, it was mostly just piano. Also, "Finally Falling" on the album does not have Avan Jogia's opening part. The show version of "All I Want Is Everything" has more singing from the other cast members. You could find the full versions of some of these songs on the show's old student website, TheSlap.com.
