Her acting career officially began in 2008 with the television show Jai Shri Krishna. In this show, she played the role of young Radha. The show first aired on Colors TV and was also shown on Nick Channel. Later, it was even dubbed and shown in Tamil and Bengali on other TV channels.

In 2008, Virti made her first big movie appearance in Bollywood with Patiala House. This film starred famous actors like Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma and was directed by Nikkhil Advani.

In 2018, Virti worked on the Comedy-drama film Hope Aur Hum. In this movie, she acted alongside well-known stars like Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Kulkarni. Virti played a character named Tanu. She shared that she found it a bit tricky to say some words correctly. Naseeruddin Shah helped her by using a special trick, which she found very interesting!
