Tavoris Javon Hollins Jr. (born August 17, 1997), known as Vory, is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. He grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Vory is well-known for singing on three songs from Kanye West's 2021 album, Donda. These songs are "God Breathed", "Jonah", and "No Child Left Behind".

His work on Donda helped him get nominated for two Grammy Awards. These nominations were for Best Rap Album and Album of the Year. Vory started making music in 2015. He signed with Capitol Records in 2018. Later, in 2020, he also worked with Meek Mill's record label, Dream Chasers Records.

Vory's first album, Lost Souls, came out in 2022. It received good reviews from music critics. Before becoming a singer, Vory was a successful songwriter. He won a Grammy Award for helping write songs on the Carters' album Everything Is Love in 2018. He also co-wrote popular songs like "Don't" by Bryson Tiller and "Mob Ties" by Drake. Both songs reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2022, he co-wrote "Forever" for Lil Baby, which was a top ten hit.

Early Life and Moving to Kentucky

Tavoris Javon Hollins Jr. was born in Houston, Texas. When he was 16, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to live with his father. In Louisville, he met Bryson Tiller, another singer from the city. They started working on music together. Vory was also signed to a local record label called FPR Music Group for a time.

Vory's Music Journey

Vory began his career by writing songs for other artists. In 2015, he started to get noticed. He was featured on a song called "Break Bread" by Bryson Tiller. At that time, Vory used the name King Vory. In 2017, Vory helped write Bryson Tiller's hit song "Don't". This song reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Vory also sang on Tiller's album Trapsoul.

After moving to Los Angeles, California, Vory met Canadian music producer Boi-1da. They worked together on several songs. In 2018, Vory helped write "Mob Ties" for Drake's album Scorpion. He also co-wrote "Friends" for The Carters' album Everything Is Love. This work helped him win a Grammy Award.

In August 2018, Vory signed with Capitol Records. He also joined Electric Feel Management. He then released his first short album, called an EP, named Lucky Me. Vory was featured on Rich the Kid's song "Ring Ring" in March 2019. On the same day, Vory released his own song, "You Got It". In June 2020, he teamed up with Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Records. He released another EP with his own name, Vory, in January 2020.

The next year, Vory appeared on three songs from Kanye West's album Donda (2021). These songs were "God Breathed", "Jonah", and "No Child Left Behind". In April 2022, Vory was featured on the song "Changed On Me" with Polo G. This song was on Fivio Foreign's album, B.I.B.L.E..

In June 2022, Vory released his first full album, Lost Souls. This album included other artists like Kanye West, Nav, Beam, and Yung Bleu. In October 2022, he co-wrote the popular song "Forever" for Lil Baby and Fridayy.
