What You Can See and Do

When you visit the planetarium, you can enjoy daily public shows. These shows often feature a full-dome movie. It covers exciting topics in astronomy and planetary science. You'll feel like you're flying through space!

The planetarium also offers interactive presentations. These shows take you on a tour of the night sky above Montgomery. You'll learn to spot different planets, bright stars, and amazing constellations.

Inside the Star Theater

The main theater has 159 seats. It uses a special digital projection system. This system can create a realistic view of the night sky. It was updated in 2014 to make the experience even better.

Other cool exhibits are also available. You can see a smaller version of the famous Hubble Space Telescope. There are also many beautiful images of objects from space. A hallway lit with black lights shows the history of astronomy. It's a fun way to learn how we've explored space over time. The planetarium is currently closed on Saturdays.
