Wally Wingert is an American voice actor. He used to be a DJ on the radio. You might know his voice from many popular shows and games! He is the voice of Almighty Tallest Red in Invader Zim and Renji Abarai in Bleach. He also voiced Psycho Blue in Power Rangers In Space. In video games, he is famous for being the Riddler in the Batman: Arkham games. He also voiced Jon Arbuckle in The Garfield Show.

Early Life and Beginnings

Wally Wingert was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on May 6, 1961. He moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, when he was young.

He started his career in radio as a disc jockey in 1977. He was only 16 years old then! In 1987, he moved to Los Angeles, California, to continue his radio work.

Voice Acting Career

Wally Wingert eventually decided to focus on acting and voice acting. He became the announcer for The Jay Leno Show. He also continued this role when Jay Leno returned to The Tonight Show.

Wally Wingert has voiced many characters you might know. He is Almighty Tallest Red from Invader Zim. He also voiced Ant-Man / Giant-Man in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. In the Batman: Arkham video games, he is the voice of the clever villain, the Riddler. He also voices Renji Abarai in Bleach. Another big role is Kotetsu T. Kaburagi / Wild Tiger in Tiger & Bunny.

He has also narrated many TV shows. These include Impact: Stories of Survival on the Discovery Health Channel. He also narrated How to Build Everything on the Science Channel.

Personal Life and Hobbies

Wally Wingert lives in Palm Springs, California. In his free time, he enjoys collecting many cool things. He collects animation art and autographs. He also loves drawings, movie costumes, and collectible toys. He is a big fan of rock and roll merchandise too!

He is not related to another voice actor named Mick Wingert.
