Wanneroo's Location and Landscape
Wanneroo is built on the Swan Coastal Plain. This area is known for its beautiful Wanneroo wetlands. These wetlands run alongside the coast, both north and south of the suburb.

Fun Events: The Wanneroo Show
One of the biggest events in Wanneroo is the Wanneroo Agricultural Show. This show has been happening every year since 1909. It's the largest regional agricultural show in Western Australia! You can usually find it taking place in late November.

Bus Services
Bus route 389 travels from Belgrade Road in Wanneroo directly to Perth Busport. This is a great way to get to the city!
Local bus routes 467 and 468 connect Wanneroo to train stations. They run between Whitfords Station and Joondalup Station.
- Route 467 goes through smaller streets. It passes near the 389 bus stop on Belgrade Road. It also serves the Wanneroo Town Centre and Wanneroo Secondary College.
- Route 468 is a faster bus service. It travels straight through Wanneroo along Wanneroo Road.
Both routes 467 and 468 change their path slightly during school times. This helps students get to and from Wanneroo Secondary College.
Other bus routes, 390 and 391, also operate in the northern part of Wanneroo. These routes serve areas near the Wanneroo Botanical Gardens. You can transfer between buses at a stop on Joondalup Drive.
