Watson Lake is a cool reservoir (a human-made lake) located in the Granite Dells area of Prescott, Arizona. It was created a long time ago, in the early 1900s. People built a dam on Granite Creek to form the lake.
The City of Prescott bought Watson Lake and the land around it in 1997. They wanted to make sure it would always be a fun place for people to visit and enjoy nature.
Lots of exciting activities happen at Watson Lake. Rock climbers love the granite cliffs nearby for climbing. It's also home to the TriCity Prep Rowing Crew, which is a high school rowing team. They are the only rowing team in Northern Arizona!
