Weaver has two public schools that are part of the Calhoun County Schools system:
- Weaver High School, for students in grades 7 through 12.
- Weaver Elementary School, for younger students in grades K (kindergarten) through 6.
Weaver High School's sports teams are called the Bearcats. They compete in Class 3A of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA).
Weaver High School has been an important part of the Weaver community since 1968. The school is especially known for its wrestling program. The boys' wrestling team holds a record for 221 wins in a row! One wrestler, Michael Sutton, won 6 state championships in a row from 1999 to 2004. As of 2024, Weaver has won 12 Traditional Wrestling State championships and one State Duels Championship. They have won four times back-to-back in 1996-1999 and 2001-2004, and currently three times back-to-back from 2021 to the present.
