Webster is a small village located in Burnett County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 653 people lived there. The village is found along Wisconsin Highway 35.

History of Webster Village
The village of Webster was not always called by its current name. It was known as Clam River until 1896.
That year, a new post office was set up. A local resident named J.D. Rice asked a U.S. Representative to change the name. He wanted to honor Noah Webster, who was famous for creating dictionaries.

The village covers about 1.76 square miles (4.56 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the village limits.

Even though Webster is a separate village, it is located inside the larger area of Meenon.
Webster is about 65 miles south of Superior. It is also 94 miles northeast of Minneapolis. Eau Claire is about 110 miles to the northwest.

In 2010, the village had 653 people living in 308 households. About 172 of these were families. The village had about 371 people per square mile.
Most residents (90.4%) were White. Other groups included African American (1.8%), Native American (3.8%), and Asian (0.2%). Some people were from other races (0.9%) or had mixed backgrounds (2.9%). About 2.0% of the population was Hispanic or Latino.

Education in Webster
The School District of Webster serves the village. It includes two main schools:
- Webster Middle–High School, for students in grades 5 through 12.
- Webster Elementary School, for younger students in grades K through 4.
In 2017–2018, the district had 655 students. The school district covers a large area, about 550 square miles. Most of this is in Burnett County. A small part is in Douglas County.
It is the second largest school district in Wisconsin based on its size. Students come from Webster village, the Town of Meenon, the Town of Swiss, and other areas. This also includes land belonging to the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin.
