Western Conference (NHL) facts for kids
The Western Conference is one of two main groups of teams in the National Hockey League (NHL). The NHL is a professional ice hockey league in North America. The other group of teams is called the Eastern Conference. Teams in the Western Conference mostly play against each other during the regular season. This helps decide which teams will compete for the Stanley Cup, the NHL's championship trophy.
