White Cloud Peak 9, also known as WCP 9, is a tall mountain peak in the White Cloud Mountains of Idaho. It stands at about 11,263 feet (3,433 meters) above sea level. This peak doesn't have an official name yet, which is why it's called "Peak 9." Many peaks in the White Cloud Mountains are not well-known and are rarely visited by people.
White Cloud Peak 9 is located in the beautiful Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Custer County, Idaho. It's about 0.50 miles (0.80 km) south of Calkins Peak, which is a taller mountain nearby. WCP 9 is the 70th highest peak in all of Idaho! It's also about 0.6 miles (0.97 km) north of D. O. Lee Peak. If you look around the peak, you'll find Cirque Lake to its southeast and Slide Lake to its northeast.
