White Earth is a small city located in Mountrail County, North Dakota, in the United States. It is one of the oldest towns in Mountrail County, founded way back in 1887. In 2020, about 100 people lived there.

Even though it's called a "city" in North Dakota, White Earth is quite small. It has a City Hall, a community center, two churches, and a place to store grain called a granary. There are no other businesses or services in the town.

White Earth has recently seen some changes because of the North Dakota oil boom. This growth was even featured in a short documentary film called White Earth, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
