William James Solomon (born July 20, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a point guard and shooting guard. Will Solomon played for teams in the NBA and in several European countries.

Early Basketball Days
Will Solomon first showed his basketball skills at East Hartford High School in East Hartford, Connecticut. He set many records there. He is part of special groups at his school, like the "1000 Career Points" club. He is also the only person from his school in the "NBA Draft" club.
After high school, he went to Clemson University to play college basketball. He was named one of the best players in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He made the first-team All-ACC as a junior and the second-team as a senior.
Professional Career Highlights
Starting in the NBA
Will Solomon decided to join the NBA draft after his junior year at Clemson. The Vancouver Grizzlies picked him in the second round in 2001. He played for the Memphis Grizzlies (the team moved and changed its name) during the 2001–02 season. He played in 62 games, scoring about 5.2 points per game.
Playing in Europe
After one year in the NBA, Solomon moved to Europe in 2003. He signed with the Greek team Aris Thessaloniki. That year, he helped them win the FIBA EuroCup Challenge, which is a European basketball competition.
Next, he moved to Israel in 2003 to play for Hapoel Jerusalem. There, he won another European title, the ULEB Cup. In Israel, people sometimes called him "The Fish" because his last name sounded like "Salmon" in Hebrew.
In 2004, Solomon went to Turkey and joined Efes Pilsen. This was his first time playing in the EuroLeague, a top European basketball league. With his help, Efes Pilsen won the Turkish championship that year.
Return to Israel and Turkey
The next season, Solomon returned to Israel to play for Maccabi Tel Aviv. This team had won the EuroLeague championship two years in a row.
After that, he went back to Istanbul and joined Fenerbahçe. This team had a lot of support and a spot in the EuroLeague. Fans called him 'King Solomon'. He helped Fenerbahçe win two Turkish championships.
Back to the NBA and Later Career
On July 28, 2008, Solomon signed with the Toronto Raptors in the NBA. In February 2009, he was traded to the Sacramento Kings. His last NBA game was on April 3, 2009.
After his time in the NBA, Solomon returned to Fenerbahçe in Turkey for a short period. In August 2010, he went back to Israel to play for Hapoel Jerusalem again.
He then played for the Ukrainian team Cherkaski Mavpy in 2011. In 2012, he played for Mersin BB in Turkey. His career continued in France with Shark Antibes starting in 2013. He finished his professional career in 2019.
