William Chidi Njoku (born March 5, 1972) is a Ghanaian-Canadian former professional basketball player. He was also a member of the Canada national men's basketball team.

Early Life and College Basketball
William Njoku was born in Accra, Ghana, in 1972. When he was four years old, he moved to Canada with his parents. They settled in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
High School Achievements
William became a star basketball player at Halifax West High School. Even though he missed most of his final year due to an injury, he was a standout player.
College Success
After high school, William attended Saint Mary's University (Halifax) in his hometown. He played college basketball there and achieved great success. In 1993, during his junior year, he won the Mike Moser Award. This award is given to the most outstanding player in Canadian university basketball. He was also named an All-Canadian player in both his junior and senior years.
Professional Basketball Career
William Njoku was a talented player who caught the eye of professional teams.
NBA Draft Experience
In 1994, William was chosen in the 1994 NBA draft. The Indiana Pacers picked him as the 41st player overall in the second round. However, he did not make it onto an NBA team's regular season roster.
Playing in Europe
After the NBA draft, William Njoku played professional basketball in Europe for ten years. He played for many different clubs in various countries.
- In 1994, he played for Elan Sportif Chalonnais in France.
- In 1995, he joined the Jersey Turnpikes in the USBL.
- He played for the Atlantic City Seagulls in the USBL in 1996.
- Later in 1996, he played for Alba Berlin in Germany.

Comeback After Injury
William Njoku had to retire from playing in 1999 because of a back injury. However, his injury was later properly diagnosed and treated. This allowed him to make a comeback to professional basketball in 2003 when he was 31 years old.

- From 2003 to 2004, he was with Eurolines Vilvoorde in Belgium.
- In 2004, he played for Rabotnički in North Macedonia.
Representing Canada
William Njoku proudly represented his country on the international stage.
FIBA World Championships
He was a member of the Canadian national team at the 1994 FIBA World Championship. He also played in the 1998 FIBA World Championship. These are major international basketball tournaments.
Developmental Team
In 2007, William also played for the Canadian national developmental team. They competed in a tournament held in Argentina.
Life After Basketball
After retiring from playing professional basketball, William Njoku has stayed involved in sports and helping others.
Coaching and Speaking
He has worked as a coach, sharing his knowledge and experience with new players. He is also a motivational speaker. He inspires people through his company, Will2Win.
Current Residence
For many years, William lived in Toronto during the basketball off-seasons. Today, he lives in Moncton, New Brunswick. From 2007 to 2010, he was the Athletics Director at Crandall University. He left that role to focus more on his motivational speaking work.
