Where is Williamstown?
The village is in the northwest part of Orange County. It sits in the middle of the town of Williamstown. Williamstown village is found in the valley of the Stevens Branch. This branch is a part of the Winooski River. The Winooski River flows into Lake Champlain.
Roads and Travel
Vermont Route 14 goes right through the center of the village. If you go north on Route 14, you will reach Barre in about 6 miles. If you travel south, the road goes through Williamstown Gulf. It continues for about 26 miles to South Royalton. This town is in the White River Valley.
Another important road is Vermont Route 64. This route starts in Williamstown village. It goes west for about 4 miles. Route 64 then connects to Interstate 89.
