Wimborne is a small community called a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada. It is located in an area known as Kneehill County. You can find it about 58 kilometers (36 miles) southeast of the city of Red Deer. Wimborne is quite high up, at an elevation of 975 meters (3,199 feet) above sea level.
The name "Wimborne" likely comes from a town in England called Wimborne Minster, which is located in East Dorset.
