The Wolf River is a cool river located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It flows into the Pacific Ocean and is completely inside Strathcona Provincial Park. This park is a beautiful place to explore nature.
Where Does the Wolf River Flow?
The Wolf River starts its journey at Schjelderup Lake. It flows north for a bit. Then, it turns northeast, passing by Mount Con Reid. Finally, the river ends when it flows into Buttle Lake. Buttle Lake is also where the Campbell River begins!
Fun Things to Do at Wolf River
If you visit the Wolf River, you can find two campgrounds near where it meets Buttle Lake. On the north side, there's Titus Marine Campground. On the south side, you'll find Wolf River Marine Campground. These are great spots for camping and enjoying the outdoors!
