Woodville is a town in Texas, United States. It is the main town, also known as the county seat, of Tyler County.
Three major US highways, U.S. Route 69, U.S. Route 190, and U.S. Route 287, all pass through Woodville. In 2020, about 2,403 people lived there. The town was named after George Tyler Wood, who was the governor of Texas from 1847 to 1849.
