Yakutia Airlines is an airline from Russia. It is based in Yakutsk, a city in the Sakha Republic.
Yakutia Airlines flies passengers to many places. It has flights within Russia and to other countries. These include places in Europe, Asia, and North America. Its main airports are Yakutsk Airport and Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow.
The airline started in 2002. The government of the Sakha Republic owns it. In 2020, Yakutia Airlines joined four other airlines. They became part of Russia's single far-eastern airline.

History of Yakutia Airlines
Yakutia Airlines began as Sakha Avia. This was the Yakutsk part of the older airline Aeroflot. It was also known as Yakutaviatrans before.
In its early days, it flew cargo planes. These planes carried goods to Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. In 2000, the airline started fresh. It was then controlled by the local government.
In 2002, Sakha Avia joined with another airline called Yakutavia. After they merged, they changed their name to Yakutia Air Company.

As of November 2023, Yakutia Airlines serves two countries. It flies on 47 different routes.

New Planes for the Future
At the 2019 MAKS Air Show in Moscow, Yakutia Airlines made a deal. They agreed to get 5 new Irkut MC-21 airplanes. These new planes were expected to arrive in 2021.

Flight Incidents
- On February 4, 2010, Flight 425 had an engine problem. This happened during takeoff from Yakutsk Airport. The plane was an Antonov An-24. When it landed, parts of the landing gear broke. No one was hurt in this event. The plane was later fixed and used again.
- On October 10, 2018, Flight 414 went off the runway. This happened when it landed at Yakutsk Airport. The plane was a Sukhoi Superjet 100. The main landing gear of the plane collapsed. No one was killed. Four people needed to go to the hospital. The plane was too damaged to be fixed.
