Anil Adhikari (Nepali: अनिल अधिकारी; born May 30, 1987 – died January 14, 2017), known as Yama Buddha (Nepali: यमबुद्ध), was a famous Nepalese rapper. He lived in London, UK. Many people see him as one of the most important rappers in Nepalese hip-hop. He was often called the "King of Nephop."
His songs like "Sathi," "Aama," "Aaudai chhu ma," "Yo Prasanga," and "Antya Ko Suruwat" were very popular. He also created and hosted a well-known rap battle show called Raw Barz.

Early Life of Yama Buddha
Yama Buddha was born on May 30, 1987. His birth name was Anil Adhikari. He was born in Salakpur, Morang, Nepal. His parents were Ambika Prasad Adhikari, who was a politician, and Urmila Adhikari.
He spent his early years in Salakpur. Later, he moved to Kathmandu with his family. He then returned to Salakpur for about two years. During this time, he lived with his grandparents. He studied in grades 4 and 5 at Pathibhara Boarding School in Itahari. After that, he moved back to Kathmandu. He joined The Excelsior School Swoyambhu for grade 6. He finished his SLC from The Excelsior School. He completed his higher secondary education from Ed Mark Academy.
Personal Life and Family
Yama Buddha moved to the UK in 2009. He returned to Nepal after a few months. In 2013, he married his long-time girlfriend, Asmita Sedhai. She was Nepalese-British. After their marriage, he moved back to North London, United Kingdom, with her.
Yama Buddha passed away on January 14, 2017. He was found in his bathroom in London.
