Markies Deandre Conway (born October 22, 1991), known as Yella Beezy, is an American rapper from Dallas, Texas. He is famous for his 2017 song "That's On Me". This song became very popular and was certified gold. His 2019 song, "Bacc At It Again" (with Quavo and Gucci Mane), was also a big hit.

Early Life

Markies Conway grew up in Dallas, Texas. When he was 12 years old, his father passed away at their home. As a child, he enjoyed playing basketball and football. He dreamed of becoming a professional football player. Conway went to Lancaster High School and graduated there.

Music Journey

Conway started writing song lyrics and rapping when he was 13. He was inspired by artists like Boosie Badazz and Kevin Gates. At 14, he released his first collection of songs called Mash Mode Overload. In 2012, he released his second collection, Lil Yella Mane. His first popular song was "Trap in Designer" in 2015. This song was part of his collection Broke Nights Rich Days.

Rising to Fame

In 2017, Yella Beezy released another collection called Lite Work, Vol. 2. This collection included the song "That's On Me". The song became a huge success, reaching number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Because of this hit, Yella Beezy signed with L.A. Reid's record label, Hitco.

In 2018, he released the collection Ain't No Goin Bacc. It featured popular songs like "What I Did" (with Kevin Gates) and "Up One" (with Lil Baby). A new version of "That's On Me" was also on this collection. It featured famous rappers like 2 Chainz, T.I., and Boosie Badazz. That same year, Yella Beezy gained more fans by performing before Jay-Z and Beyoncé's concerts. He opened for them in Dallas and Houston during their On the Run II Tour.

In 2019, Yella Beezy released Baccend Beezy. This was his first collection released under the Hitco label. It included the hit songs "Bacc At It Again" (with Quavo and Gucci Mane) and "Restroom Occupied" (with Chris Brown). He also appeared on a song called "Hit Yo Dance" by Eritrean model Rubi Rose, which also featured NLE Choppa.
