Vas Coleman, born on May 25, 1999, is a rapper from the United States. He is known by his stage name, Yung Bans. He became famous for his song "Lonely" in 2017. This song featured Lil Skies and was certified gold. This means it sold a lot of copies!

Early Life

Vas Coleman was born in St. Louis, Missouri. When he was in seventh grade, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He went to high school there. Some of his favorite rappers who inspired him include Lil Wayne, Chief Keef, and Tyler, the Creator.

Music Career

Coleman started rapping when he was in sixth grade. Back then, he used the name Ban Boy. He first wanted to play basketball as a career. But in high school, he decided to become a rapper instead.

His first song was called "4Tspoon." He released it on May 21, 2015, with another rapper named Playboi Carti. Later that year, he worked with Ski Mask the Slump God on a song. It was called "ILOVEITWHENTHEYRUN" and featured XXXTentacion. In 2016, Coleman was featured on Smokepurpp's song "Damage." He also released his own song, "Right Through You," in December 2016.

Yung Bans started getting more attention in December 2017. He released two music collections called Yung Bans and Yung Bans Vol. 2. These helped more people discover his music.

In 2018, he released the song "Ridin." This song featured YBN Nahmir and Landon Cube. He also released three more collections: Yung Bans Vol. 3, Yung Bans Vol. 4, and Yung Bans Vol. 5. In November 2018, he worked with rapper Jasiah on a song called "Shenanigans."
