Plot Summary

The Original Zenith Team

Many years before the movie starts, there was a superhero team called Zenith. Five young heroes worked together to protect the world. The team was led by Jack Shepard, known as "Captain Zoom." His older brother, Connor Shepard, was called "Concussion."

The American military wanted to make their powers even stronger. They used a special kind of energy called "Gamma-13." This energy made Zoom faster and more powerful. But it changed Concussion, making him turn bad. Concussion thought Zoom and the team had betrayed him. He then hurt his teammates Marksman, Ace, and Daravia. Everyone thought Zoom had defeated Concussion and lost his own powers. However, Concussion was actually sent into another dimension.

A New Threat and a New Team

Thirty years later, Dr. Ed Grant finds out that Concussion is coming back. Dr. Grant was the scientist who created the first Zenith Project. General Larraby, who runs the Project, decides they need a new Zenith Team. He wants them to fight Concussion.

Jack Shepard is pulled back into the Project. This time, he is asked to be a teacher. General Larraby gives Jack a choice: go to prison for a long time or get $500,000 to train the new team. Jack doesn't want to, but he agrees to help.

Training at Area 52

Jack goes to their secret base, called Area 52. There, he meets Marsha Holloway. She is a smart but sometimes clumsy psychologist. Marsha is a huge fan of Captain Zoom. She knows about him from comic books.

The Project holds tryouts for new team members. Four young people are chosen. Dylan West is seventeen and can become invisible. Summer Jones is sixteen and can move things with her mind. She can also feel what others are feeling. Tucker Williams is twelve and can make himself grow very big. Cindy Collins is six years old and has super strength.

Challenges and Progress

At first, things are tough. Jack is still upset about what happened in the past. His grumpy attitude makes Marsha sad. Dylan keeps trying to run away from the base. Tucker has trouble believing in himself and controlling his powers. The kids are annoyed by Jack's attitude.

Eventually, the team tells Jack that he isn't trying his best. Slowly, things start to get better. The new team's powers improve. They also pick their own superhero names. Cindy calls herself "Princess." Tucker becomes "Mega Boy." Dylan chooses "Houdini," and Summer is "Wonder."

The Final Confrontation

As Concussion gets closer to Earth, they discover something new. Dylan can also sense things from far away, a power called mindsight. This helps him find out where Concussion is. He also learns the Project's real plan. The new team is just a distraction. The military wants to trap Concussion in a special net. This net will make his own power blasts bounce back at him, stopping him.

Marsha also reveals her secret power. She can blow rainbow-colored super breath! She uses it to help the team escape. The military was about to move them to the Gamma-13 chamber. Jack and the team escape in a broken flying saucer from the base. They fix it as they go.

Jack drops off the team in the desert where Concussion will arrive. He plans to talk to his brother. Jack tells the team to stay away from the fight, but they refuse. When Concussion arrives, General Larraby orders the net to be fired. But Concussion blasts it away, and it almost hits Cindy. This makes Jack get his powers back, and he saves her.

Working together, the team and Marsha guide Concussion. Zoom creates a fast spinning circle, a vortex, by running super-fast. Dr. Grant tells Zoom that if he closes the vortex, they can save Concussion. The vortex removes the Gamma-13 from Connor. This makes his powers normal again and turns him good. Zoom and Concussion are finally reunited.

Life After the Mission

Three months later, the new Zenith Team is still working together with Zoom. Cindy is in a school play, using her strength to help. Tucker is a great goalie on his soccer team. Dylan and Summer are dating. Summer uses her mind powers to help her cheerleading team.
