The 2011–12 season was a really special year for Juventus Football Club. It was their 114th year as a club and their fifth year in Italy's top football league, Serie A. This season, Juventus won their first league title since 2006. They had won two titles before that (in 2005 and 2006), but those were taken away because of a big football scandal called Calciopoli. So, this win felt like a fresh start!

Season Highlights
The season began with a big change: Antonio Conte, a former Juventus captain and a fan favorite, became the new manager on May 31, 2011. It was his first time managing a major Serie A club. He had previously led smaller teams like Siena and Bari to promotions.
Conte's arrival brought new energy. Key players like Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal, both amazing midfielders, joined the team. This season also marked the opening of the brand new Juventus Stadium. It opened on September 11 with a big 4–1 win against Parma.
In the first half of the league, Juventus had important wins against strong teams like Milan and Inter in October. Even though some people worried about the team not having a main striker, the players still scored lots of goals.
Juventus climbed to first place and secured the league title in the second-to-last game of the season. They won 2–0 against Cagliari. This was their first league title in nine years! What's even more amazing is that Juventus finished the entire season without losing a single game in the league. This set a new record for the 20-team league format in Italy.
The team also made it to the Coppa Italia final. However, they lost 2–0 to Napoli. This was their only loss of the entire season. This final match was also the last game for the legendary Juventus player Alessandro Del Piero. He had scored his final goal for the club just seven days earlier in a 3–1 win against Atalanta.
After a 3–1 victory in the final league match against Atalanta, Juventus became the first team to go through a 38-game Serie A season without any defeats.
Club Information
The club is owned by the Agnelli family through their company Exor S.p.A.. The chairman of Juventus during this season was Andrea Agnelli. The team played their home games at the Juventus Stadium, which holds about 41,000 fans.
