The 2011–12 season was a very special year for the Juventus Football Club. It was their 114th year as a club and their fifth year in a row playing in Italy's top football league. This season, Juventus won their first official league title in Serie A since 2003. They had won two titles before this, but those wins were later taken away.

Season Highlights: A Winning Year

This season was a huge success for Juventus. They achieved something amazing: they went the entire league season without losing a single game! This was a new record for the 20-team league in Italy.

New Coach and Key Players

On May 31, 2011, Antonio Conte, a former captain and fan favorite, became the new manager. This was his first time managing a big Serie A team. He had previously led other teams to promotion in Serie A. His arrival brought new energy and coincided with two important player additions: Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal. Both were excellent midfielders who helped the team a lot.

A New Home Stadium

The 2011–12 season also marked the opening of Juventus's brand new home, the Juventus Stadium. It officially opened on September 11, 2011, with a match against Parma. Juventus won that game 4–1.

Winning the League Title

Even though some people worried about the team not having a strong main striker, Juventus still scored many goals with different players. They quickly moved to first place in the league. The team secured the title in the second-to-last game of the season, winning 2–0 against Cagliari. This was their first league title in nine years!

Coppa Italia Final and Farewell to a Legend

Conte's team also reached the final of the Coppa Italia (Italy's main cup competition). However, they lost 2–0 to Napoli. This was their only loss of the entire season. The Coppa Italia final was also the very last game for Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero. Just seven days before, he had scored his final goal for the club in a 3–1 win against Atalanta.
